Editor’s Note: Yes, we are behind in posting these … you can imagine the wedding, honeymoon, and an “iffy” internet here in Uganda. We are now catching up! Thanks for the prayers for us!
Before I drive away I put my GPS on. Since I live in LA, traffic is ALWAYS an issue. Just because I KNOW the way doesn’t mean I want to GO that way. As patterns change because of accidents and congestion, I want someone who can guide me through the safest route to my destination.
I’m Dr. Matthew Lee Smith and I want to share some Hope For Todayabout Walking Securely In God’s Faithful Love!

One of the things we see in the United States more and more is that we are living longer … well, many of us are anyway. However, it seems like most of those people are growing older, not living a long, full life.
When was the last time you saw a person consistently joyful? Seriously, when was that? So many people struggle through each day, trying to get what they cannot have … their heart’s desires!
Messing up. Ugh! We’ve all done it and, to be honest, sometimes the biggest problem is just being discovered. Don’t misunderstand me. The worst thing is failing. But the problem is, when we have to tell someone what we did, especially when that someone is our dad.
Have you looked at any old family photos lately? You know, going way back to the black and white ones? Do you know who those people are? Did your family write their names on the back of the pictures or put them in family photo albums with labels beside the pictures?
When was the last time your dad just loved you? You hadn’t done anything. There was no reason. You hadn’t gotten good grades. You hadn’t washed his car or mowed the lawn. He just loved you. Maybe he picked you up in his arms. Maybe he took you for ice cream. Or maybe he just called to tell you he loved you.
