Day 2: Change Flows From Our Heart!

“Guard your heart above all else, for it is the source of life.” (Proverbs 4:23, CSB)

If we truly want to see the supernatural power of God change all areas of our lives, we will need to realize He must have FIRST PLACE in our hearts … in total and complete surrender.

You will admit with me that many times WE are more important than HE is in our daily choices and appetites. We simply do what WE want without ever consulting or thinking about what our King would want. THAT has to change if supernatural change is to come to our lives.

The ONE THING: So what do you have to surrender? What is the ONE THING you need to surrender TODAY to the Lord – and every day from now on – to make THE LORD AND NOT YOU the FOCUS of your life for the next 21 Days (and beyond)? (Write it down right here, right now.)

Now, let’s PRAY INSTEAD OF EAT today for this ONE THING we have written down, asking God for the power to FOCUS on this ONE THING all day today and for the remainder of these 21 Days so that 2021 will become “Our year of GROWTH!”

21 Araw ng Panalangin at Pag-aayuno

2021 – Ang aming Taon ng Paglaki Sa Aming Espirituwal na Buhay!

Araw 2: Baguhin ang Mga Daloy Mula sa Aming Puso!

“Bantayan mo ang iyong puso higit sa lahat, sapagkat ito ang mapagkukunan ng buhay.” (Kawikaan 4:23, CSB)

Kung totoong nais nating makita ang supernatural na kapangyarihan ng Diyos na nagbabago sa lahat ng mga bahagi ng ating buhay, kakailanganin nating mapagtanto na dapat ay mayroong UNANG LUGAR sa ating mga puso… sa kabuuan at kumpletong pagsuko.

Aaminin mo sa akin na maraming beses TAYONG mas mahalaga kaysa Kaniya sa ating pang-araw-araw na pagpipilian at kagustuhan. Ginagawa lamang namin ang nais NAMIN nang hindi kailanman kumunsulta o nag-iisip tungkol sa kung ano ang nais ng ating Hari. IYON ay kailangang magbago kung ang supernatural na pagbabago ay darating sa ating buhay.

Ang ISANG BAGAY: Kaya ano ang kailangan mong isuko? Ano ang isang bagay na kailangan mo upang sumuko NGAYON sa Panginoon – at araw-araw mula ngayon – upang gawin ANG PANGINOON AT HINDI IKAW ang pokus ng iyong buhay sa susunod na 21 Araw (at higit pa)? (Isulat ito dito mismo, ngayon.)

Ngayon, MANALANGIN tayo INSTEAD NG KUMAIN ngayon para sa ISANG bagay na isinulat namin, na humihiling sa Diyos ng kapangyarihang mag-FOCUS sa ONE THING na ito sa buong araw ngayon at para sa natitirang 21 Araw na ito upang ang 2021 ay maging “Our year of GROWTH! ”

MANALANGIN INSTEAD NG KUMAIN ngayon para sa ISANG BAGAY na isinulat mo!

2021 – ¡Nuestro año de crecimiento en nuestra vida espiritual!

Día 2: ¡El cambio fluye desde nuestro corazón!

“Cuida tu corazón por encima de todo, porque es la fuente de la vida”.(Proverbios 4:23, CSB)

Si realmente queremos ver el poder sobrenatural de Dios cambiar todas las áreas de nuestras vidas, necesitaremos darnos cuenta de que Él debe tener el PRIMER LUGAR en nuestros corazones … en una entrega total y completa.

Admitirá conmigo que muchas veces NOSOTROS somos más importantes que ÉL en nuestras elecciones y apetitos diarios. Simplemente hacemos lo que NOSOTROS queremos sin siquiera consultar o pensar en lo que nuestro Rey querría. ESO tiene que cambiar si un cambio sobrenatural ha de llegar a nuestras vidas.

LA ÚNICA COSA: Entonces, ¿qué tienes que rendirte? ¿Cuál es la ÚNICA COSA que necesita entregar HOY al Señor, y todos los días a partir de ahora, para hacer que EL SEÑOR Y NO USTED sea el ENFOQUE de su vida durante los próximos 21 días (y más allá)? (Escríbalo aquí mismo, ahora mismo).

Ahora, oremos hoy en lugar de comer por esta ÚNICA COSA que hemos escrito, pidiendo a Dios el poder de ENFOCARSE en ESTA ÚNICA durante todo el día de hoy y por el resto de estos 21 días para que el 2021 se convierta en “¡Nuestro año de CRECIMIENTO! ”

2021 – Our Year of Growth in Our Spiritual Lives!

Day 1: Change Happens When We Fast and Pray! 

“And when He had come into the house, His disciples asked Him privately, “Why could we not cast [the unclean spirit] out?” So He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing but prayer and fasting.””(Mark 9:28–29, NKJV)

Many of life’s problems seem TOO BIG! We struggle over them for weeks, sometimes years. Yet, as we will see in the coming 3 weeks, God wants them to bow before King Jesus and to flee from our presence once they have served their purposes.

Yes, King Jesus WANTS us to have victory over the enemies of our spiritual lives, our physical lives, our intellectual lives, our family lives, our social lives, our vocational lives and even our financial lives. They WILL come out of our lives as we PRAY INSTEAD OF EAT (That’s called fasting in the Bible), pleading with God for their removal from our lives. Victory in King Jesus comes through our PRAYER INSTEAD OF EATING!

The ONE THING: Each day we will ask you to answer this question: What is the ONE THING you can do starting today, to make PRAYING INSTEAD OF EATINGthe FOCUS of your life for the next 21 Days? (Write it down right here, right now.)

Now, let’s PRAY INSTEAD OF EAT today for this ONE THING we have written down, asking God for the power to FOCUS on this ONE THING all day today and for the coming 21 Days so that 2021 will become “Our year of GROWTH!”

2021 – Ang aming Taon ng Paglaki Sa Aming Espirituwal na Buhay!

Araw 1: Mangyayari ang Pagbabago Kapag Nag-ayuno at Nagdarasal!

“At nang makapasok siya sa bahay, tinanong Siya ng lihim ng kanyang mga alagad,” Bakit hindi namin mapalabas ang [karumaldumal na espiritu]? ” Kaya’t sinabi Niya sa kanila, “Ang ganitong uri ay hindi lalabas nang walang iba kundi ang pagdarasal at pag-aayuno.” (Marcos 9: 28–29, NKJV)

Marami sa mga problema sa buhay ay tila MAS MALAKING! Nahihirapan tayo sa kanila sa loob ng maraming linggo, kung minsan ay mga taon. Gayunpaman, tulad ng makikita natin sa darating na 3 linggo, nais ng Diyos na sila ay yumukod sa harapan ni Haring Hesus at tumakas mula sa ating presensya sa sandaling nagawa nila ang kanilang mga hangarin.

Oo, GUSTO ni Haring Hesus na magkaroon tayo ng tagumpay laban sa mga kaaway ng ating espiritwal na buhay, ating pisikal na buhay, ating intelektwal na buhay, buhay ng ating pamilya, ating buhay panlipunan, ating bokasyonal na buhay at maging ang ating pinansyal na buhay. LALABAS sila sa ating buhay habang NAGDASAL KITA NG KUMAIN (Tinawag na pag-aayuno sa Bibliya), na nagsusumamo sa Diyos para sa kanilang pagtanggal sa aming buhay. Ang Tagumpay sa Haring Hesus ay dumarating sa pamamagitan ng ating PANALANGIN INSTEAD NG PAGKAIN!

Ang ISANG BAGAY: Bawat araw ay hihilingin namin sa iyo na sagutin ang katanungang ito: Ano ang ISANG bagay na maaari mong gawin simula ngayon, upang gawin ang PAGDASAL SA INSTEAD NG PAGKAIN ang pokus ng iyong buhay sa susunod na 21 Araw? (Isulat ito dito mismo, ngayon.)

Ngayon, MANALANGIN TAYO NG KUMAON ngayon para sa ISANG BAGAY na isinulat namin, na humihiling sa Diyos ng kapangyarihang mag-FOCUS sa ONE THING na ito buong araw ngayon at para sa darating na 21 Araw upang ang 2021 ay maging “Our year of GROWTH!”

¡Muchos de los problemas de la vida parecen DEMASIADO GRANDES! Luchamos por ellos durante semanas, a veces años. Sin embargo, como veremos en las próximas 3 semanas, Dios quiere que se inclinen ante el Rey Jesús y que huyan de nuestra presencia una vez que hayan cumplido sus propósitos.

Sí, el Rey Jesús QUIERE que tengamos la victoria sobre los enemigos de nuestra vida espiritual, nuestra vida física, nuestra vida intelectual, nuestra vida familiar, nuestra vida social, nuestra vida vocacional e incluso nuestra vida financiera. Saldrán de nuestras vidas mientras ORAMOS EN LUGAR DE COMER (Eso se llama ayuno en la Biblia), suplicando a Dios por su eliminación de nuestras vidas. ¡La victoria en el Rey Jesús viene a través de nuestra ORACIÓN EN LUGAR DE COMER!

La ÚNICA COSA: Cada día le pediremos que conteste esta pregunta: ¿Cuál es la ÚNICA COSA que puede hacer a partir de hoy, para que Orar EN LUGAR DE COMER sea el ENFOQUE de su vida durante los próximos 21 días? (Escríbalo aquí mismo, ahora mismo).

Investigate Before We Imitate!

There is a powerful lesson here if we will STOP, read it many times, read the verse many times, and then ask God a simple question: “Do I want MY life to like THEIR life … the one they HIDE from everyone? (If we don’t know what their “hidden life” is then we SHOULD NOT want or imitate their life!

We want a REAL WORLD life, not the plastic, pretend life people see on the platform of a church or ministry.

We would ask questions like,

* Are they moral or immoral?
* Do they tell the truth or do they lie?
* Do they use their money wisely or do they always BEG what others have?

Questions like this are essential to answer BEFORE we start wanting the life of the leader we are following.

The EASIEST way to do this is to be DISCIPLED – get to know them in everyday settings often – like Jesus did with his disciples.

Be blessed and DO NOT follow a leader you DO NOT know their “hidden life” well.

Hope For Today #175 – Gratitude Give Thanks to the Lord For All He Has Done!

Thanksgiving in the USA is this Thursday! It’s a time of family and friends gathering together and rejoicing in the fact that God has been so good to them this past year.

For many, it is a once a year thing … as people fly, drive, or take a train to “come back home” and enjoy reconnecting with the ones they love so much!

In today’s episode of Hope For Today, Doc shares the reality of the holiday from Psalm 136.1. In “Gratitude Give Thanks to the Lord For All He Has Done,” we explore the reason for the holiday.

“Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good.
