EIL Uganda Mission Trip, August 3-16, 2026

Here’s the Overview In Bullet Points

  • Building Life-Long Friends: One of the greatest take aways from this trip is the bond you will have with many Ugandans for the rest of your life. They are open, loving, appreciative, and genuine people. 
  • Depart LAX Monday, August 3, return LAX Monday, August 31, 2026
  • Mission focus: 2 leadership conferences (One 3-day, and another 2-day) focusing on discipleship, leadership development, and marriage. An outreach to prostitutes for salvation and sharing the love of Jesus. Plenty of children at each location – 60% of Uganda’s population is under the age of 30!
  • Stay in wonderful hotels the whole time, enjoying the incredible Uganda food (and some USA styles as well). 
  • African worship: At the conferences and at Sunday worship you will immerse yourself in the rich, passionate world of African Worship, Uganda Style.
  • Sight-seeing: Murchison Falls National Park, Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, Nile River, Game Drive  Spot Uganda’s diverse wildlife, including elephants, lions, buffalo, Rothschild’s giraffe, hartebeest, waterbuck, oribi, hyenas, and, with luck, leopards. A Boat Safari along the Nile where you will observe hippos, crocodiles, elephants, and a wide variety of bird species, experiencing the richness of the riverine ecosystem and the Budongo Forest for chimpanzee trekking.
  • Shopping: You will be able to shop and take Uganda home with you not only in your heart, but in souvenirs that will prompt you to pray and perhaps return again!

We Are Building a Team

We are looking for:

  • Prayer Warriors: Uganda is a battleground between the forces of God and the powers of the Devil. Each event will be surrounded by prayer warriors before, during and after, praying for understanding, implementation, and expansion long after we are home! 
  • Children’s Workers: As mentioned, at each location, even though we are targeting Church Leaders and their spouses, there will be children. Reaching into their hearts and bringing the love of Jesus for hours each day will require those who focus on the next generation with Biblical teaching, fun activities, and genuine love. 
  • Tech Team: All of this needs to be captured and processed so others can see and join in from afar. Messages need to be recorded, video needs to be taken, photos need to be preserve the moves of God in each location and day. Prepping things for social media will be a vital aspect as well. The world must know what God is doing in Uganda through you and our team!
  • Teaching Team: While most of the teaching and training will be done by Doc and Kate and some Uganda Partners, there will be times for sharing testimonies, teaching part of the lesson, and interacting/facilitating with Pastors and spouses, Church Leaders and spouses in small group break out sessions. Leading these will make long-term impact and will open doors for discussions that bring breakthrough and blessing.
